Worship

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." - John 4:24

College Heights Baptist Church is a congregation that is focused on true, biblical worship. We are constantly learning and walking together through what that means and looks like on a daily basis. Whether that is through expressive arts, fellowship, personal devotion, or daily living—we aim to be about Jesus.

Every time we gather, we incorporate hymns, choruses, scripture, and prayer into our worship. Worship is not just a time to sit and listen to a performance—it is coming together, honestly and authentically before the throne of God, to do whatever may be needed. Worship through music, prayer, and scripture is a conduit for the Holy Spirit to do work! When we come together as a body of believers, it is powerful!

Now to answer your pressing question—we play a blend of traditional and contemporary music ranging from “Victory in Jesus” and “Nothing but the Blood” to “Our God is Greater” and “Oceans”. Our focus is on the content and themes of the songs we are singing. Our prayer is that you will enter into a time of worship through music with expectant hearts and humbled spirits.

We do our full band, blended service on Sunday morning’s at 10:15a.m. As you can see, there are many opportunities to serve alongside us. You may want to sing, play an instrument, or help with audio or video. Our worship team is full of a great group of people who are focused, humble, and have the hearts of servants. As a team, we want to serve the church and worship Jesus.

Hope to see you soon!
